MOBILE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY - LOCATION AWARE

DESCRIPTION:

Standard print advertising has its advantages. A poster in the mall is walked by countless times each day. Now, think of a poster that

moves to get attention, sends messages to Bluetooth enabled handsets, and asks multiple people to come interact with the advertisement.

Mobile Control Technology (MCT) allows multiple people to control a screen, sign, or billboard via their phone.

In the video below you will see MCT applied in a multi-player trivia game setting. Players send the digital sign a picture message and once

enough players have signed in, they compete against each other and the previous players of the game. High scores are rewarded with brand

memorabilia and coupons. However, no one goes home empty handed and always takes a piece of the brand away from the experience with

a coupon or digital code to redeem brand items.

TECHNOLOGY:

Picture text messaging and normal text messaging are heavily used in Mobile Control Technology. This is a technology that every mobile

user has the option of using and does not require special mobile development on the device itself. MCT is then able to be utilized

anywhere a mobile network connection is active. Bluetooth and internet based services can be integrated on the device by having the

controlled device send links, coupons, and images to the consumers. Also, because of the proximity abilities of bluetooth, the controlled object

is able to reach out to consumers and directly invite them to interact with the brand.
